Split AC vs Central AC: Which Is Right for Your JVC Home?

How split systems work
A split system pairs one wall-mounted indoor unit with one outdoor condenser, connected by refrigerant lines. In an apartment tower, each unit is typically owned and maintained by the resident rather than the building. This is why split unit repairs, capacitors, drains, filters, gas refills, are isolated to that one room, and one unit failing doesn't affect the rest of the apartment.
How central and ducted systems work
A central system uses one or more concealed indoor air handlers, usually in the ceiling void, feeding cooled air to multiple rooms through ductwork. Larger villas often zone the system, commonly by floor, so each area has independent temperature control rather than the whole property being cooled to a single setting. A fault can show up as a whole-system issue (the outdoor condenser fails, everything stops) or as something isolated to one zone (a stuck damper, a blocked duct run affecting one room).
Which suits which property
JVC apartment towers, Bloom Towers, Belgravia, Pantheon, Plazzo Heights and similar, are almost entirely split-unit buildings, since each unit is independently owned.
